Today I started to list some new necklaces and pendants in my Etsy-store. I also relisted a bunch of beads that had expired during the Fall. My ambition is to list a few new items each day till my box with items to list is empty. I have A LOT of beads and pendants lying around just waiting to be listed. One problem this time of year is that the light here in Sweden is not too good for photos. As soon as I see the sun I run outside and starts snapping pictures of beads-to-be-listed. This weekend I went out in -12 degrees Celsius (about 10 degrees Farenheit) to snap pics of necklaces. I had to keep my gloves ON during the photo-session 😉 I am a dedicated bead-maker!
When I reached 50 items in my store I finally went ahead and made a a few categories too. I now have a well-stocked and easy to browse through store 🙂 Please take a cup of your favorite drink and swing by, why don’t you?

I managed to get my hand on one of Etsy’s Treasuries today. I named it Winter Blues. Please take a minute to click and comment!

Today I have been busy in my studio. No clay, just finishing necklaces and bracelets that have been lying around like forever. I had crocheted tubes lying all over the place and today I assembled some of them into finished jewellery. I have some more to finish later… I’ve also started to make simple necklaces with all those orphan-beads that is gathering dust in my drawers – I’ll promise to show you when they are done 🙂
The polymer clay-focals in the first two pictures are made by the talented artist Cheryl Harris.

As always I found some really good items on Flickr. Just take a look at these:
I won 1st place in PCC’s Challenge for November 2009! The theme was Carve it up and I made a necklace with carved/impressed beads (faux ivory and verdigris). I have already spent my money on more clay 🙂
Here’s the winning necklace:
