Fabulous stamps!

Filed under: beads, polymer clay — by jencom @ 8:49 am

This week I got my custom-made stamps from Tonja’s Treasures. They are GREAT! I just sent her pictures made with free fonts and she transformed them into stamps. Now I have my own OOAK-stamps 🙂 Want to see? OK, then:

Now on to what you can make with these wonderful tools. I am kind of stuck on an MG-spree right now (for those of you that not are polymer clay-addicted MG is short for Mokume Gane, an ancient Japanse technique for metal-work. You can read more here.) so of course I made some MG-sheets with my new stamps. I used two different methods:

The “stacked” method:

mgsheet1

mgsheet2

mgsheet3

and the I also med some with Tonja’s tutorial for “Scrap-MG“:

mgsheet4

mgsheet5

I like the “scrap” best, how about you?

Todays big question is: finish something with my already made sheets or make more sheets? What to do with all my MG-sheets!?

  1. Hi Jenny,
Thanks for the rave review 🙂 I am so glad you love your stamps. The MG sheets came out fabulous. That bright green one is a real eye catcher.

Another great Scrap MG technique is to flatten old canes that just didn’t come out right. I am playing with it myself this weekend making bangle bracelets.

    Hugs,
    Tonja
